Gender and Media in Sport
This course addresses the intersection of communication, culture, and identity through an examination of how social perceptions of gender are influenced by the mass sports media. This class will challenge students to critically analyze and discuss the creation and consumption of sport and the uses of media to positively impact sport culture.
Prerequisites: KP211; Registration status: Year 3 or Year 4 of Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology program.
